Suspension

Before you choose which swing or vestibular activity it is important you have the correct setup for your ceiling suspension. This mainly depends on how your building is constructed and what space you have available. It is important to note that not every ceiling is suitable for suspension of swings, as different materials have different characteristics. Please call us on 01157 180 020 and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Here you will find everything else you need to safely suspend your Southpaw equipment from ceilings up to 4m high. Many of these items can be sold separately, but please look out for the kits which offer best value and give you everything you need.

Southpaw have also designed and manufactured a wide range of Suspension stands and frames which complement and our full range of Therapy swings. You will be able to find a Therapy Swing frame to fit any room regardless of shape, size or location of obstacles.

For those who cannot have a fixed point in the room or want a more flexible array of suspension points, it may be worth looking at our range of Suspension Frames, as these will not affect the structure of the room and can be taken down and moved if necessary.
