The Vibro-Acoustic Bean Bag has been specifically designed to work with our Southpaw Amplifier (901301). Inside the comfortable, durable and water-resistant fabric is a powerful tactile transducer (bass shaker) that creates vibrations which can be felt through the body.

The purpose of our vibro-acoustic equipment is for the user to feel the vibrations through their body, rather than simply listen to music.

A normal speaker is designed to move air so that we can hear sound. A bass shaker works differently: it transfers low-frequency sound energy directly into the bean bag, creating physical vibrations that the user can feel.

The bass shaker itself is not intended to work as a music speaker.

If you would like the user to hear the music as well as feel the vibrations, a set of speakers can also be connected to the Southpaw Amplifier.

The audio and vibratory input can be adjusted to suit the user’s individual needs and preferences. This allows the user to experience stronger vibrations without needing a correspondingly high listening volume, providing greater flexibility when creating an individual sensory experience.

The Vibro-Acoustic Bean Bag comes complete with a coaxial audio cable and high-powered bass shaker as standard.

Please note that, while this product may be compatible with some third-party stereo systems, they may not provide the same level of performance, control and adaptability as the Southpaw Amplifier. For the best experience and full control of your Southpaw vibro-acoustic equipment, we recommend using the system it has been designed for.
