The Frog Swing is one of the most popular swings for clinical and home use for providing proprioceptive stimulation and vertical movement. The Frog Swing has a wood crossbeam that allows it to be adapted for a working load of 70kg. The Frog Swing comes with three single vertical stimulation loops for an initial working load of up to 40kg These loops can be removed to provide a greater bounce for younger clients. You can easily increase the working load to 54 or even 70kg by simply adding more loops, however we do not recommend that you use more than four double loops at a time on your Frog Swing.
PLEASE NOTE: The Vertical Stimulation Device (VSD) loops (depending upon the intensity, frequency and duration of use) will wear quicker than the Frog Swing. Therefore, while the Frog Swing is covered by our 2 year warranty, we can only provide a warranty on the Vertical Stimulation Device (VSD) loops for 6 months.

If you are looking to have a Southpaw swing installed on a ceiling by anyone other than Southpaw UK engineers - then the installation of forged ceiling eyebolts is your responsibility, and must be to the proper specifications. We always recommend that you have the ceiling tested by a structural engineer to ensure that your ceiling can carry the appropriate working loads. Other elements of safety include the layout of the clinic or therapy space, the implementation of a systematic equipment inspection program, proper matting, and personal protection.
