The Master Switch has been designed to allow the user the choice of control and usage of their environment. The switch allows the option of three modes, once you select your mode of choice all interactive equipment within the room will respond accordingly. Wall mountable.
The Master switch gives 3 separate and effective ways to use your Multi-Sensory Environment, each allowing a different approach depending on the desired outcomes. Before any mode is selected, as the practitioner switches on the Southpaw equipment, they are presented with a dim white room or a "blank canvas" to allow the environment to be adapted to meet the needs of the client, regardless of the level of arousal. This control allows the practitioner to be more focused on the Multi-Sensory tools available to them, leading to a more effective and outcome based sessions.
Getting familiar with Southpaw Interactive Products Southpaw have designed and manufactured products for the use in Sensory Therapy and therefore the functionality has been based on this rather than a “light show”. When used singularly; all our range when first turned on will go to a dim WHITE colour initially to avoid any potential initial over stimulation or distraction for the client when entering the room. Our equipment is designed to be used one piece at time so that the therapist can structure their session effectively based on the needs of the client. (However there are other Southpaw items which can expand the range of uses based on the client needs).
All Southpaw Interactive Products have an “Activation” button located on the item. When this is pressed and held for 5 seconds it will turn the product into a passive Relaxation mode, where the equipment will slowly cycle through various colours. You will know the Interactive product is in this mode as it will turn GREEN. Once you have finished with the item, press and hold the Activation button for 5 seconds and the
panel will return to dim WHITE.
Auto mode
This mode is ideal if there are more than one user in the environment and a steady cycling of colours is desired to create a relaxing ambience. All the Interactive equipment will gradually fade through the spectrum. In this mode the Remote Switch can be used to override the equipment, so the room can be set as desired.
Sync mode
This gives the practitioner the ability to sync with individual interactive products and lead a very focused, distraction free session while the other Interactive products remain a dim white.
Control mode
This mode is great if you want a level of interaction and switch progression across the entire range of Interactive products at the same time. Use our Super Switch and select your desired mode and see the room change or use the Power Cube as a group activity to change the room colour.
